Today, the carpet was installed. We spent 10 min. last Friday removing the previous carpet/pad and taking out stakes and footing in the backyard.
The water is getting turned on tomorrow...
The 12/31/10 close date doesn't look like it will be happening now...
Probably closer to 1/13/11.

What color carpet did you pick Adree? That was a fast install. Did you put in a remnant carpet? Sounds like fun pulling out stakes and such and only 10 min. I hope many hands made light work. Thanks for showing us the house when we were there. It helps me picture everything. I'm so excited for you guys.
It's just a light tan color. we didn't put it a remnant- they just do fast service, and we only had to cover an area about 12 by 22... brenton and i were able to pull up all the stakes in the backyard, it didn't take long at all! we are so excited!
