Christmas 2010

Christmas was great this year!!! It was Aimee's first Christmas, and Bryson's third. We loved being able to spend so much time as a family!
Brenton had off Friday-Monday. We had so much fun celebrating as a family this special 4 day weekend! Thursday, we met Brenton in town after he got off work. We went and looked at carpet for our new house, then we went out to eat at Papa Kelsey's and went to see the Temple Lights. The kids liked them, but I think they were a little too tired to really enjoy them.
Friday was Christmas Eve. At night, we had our annual Cluff Christmas Eve Party. All of the family was here, along with a few guests. It was fun! We had a nativity with all the kids. That was stressful, but the kids were still cute! Aimee was an angel and Bryson was a shepherd. We had a mini talent show, sang songs, and had a special Christmas message. Brenton and I put the kids to bed, then started getting all their gifts ready for Christmas morning. The big gift we got the kids was a little play kitchen. We thought it would be easy to pull out of the box, but we were wrong. We had to assemble the WHOLE thing. It took us a good couple of hours! We ended up staying up pretty late on Christmas Eve, watching Elf, and getting presents ready for the morning.
Christmas morning , the kids decided to sleep in just a little. Aimee got up about 7 and I fed her breakfast. We got Bryson up a little later. We took a few pictures of the kids and brought them downstairs. Aimee was afraid of the wrapping paper on her gifts at first, but she caught on quick. Both kids enjoyed their gifts. We think we got them perfect gifts this Christmas! It was so much fun opening presents with them! For the rest of the day, we just hung out at home and let the kids enjoy their presents. Usually, we are busy running all over the place on Christmas Day. It was nice to just chill at home. We ate good food, played with all the toys, and played games all day. At night, we got on the webcam and chatted with Grandma and Grandpa Jensen as well as Breanne, Mike, and baby Evan for a few minutes. It didn't last too long due to Aimee's crankiness (it was bedtime) and the bad connection.
Sunday, was church and another day of hanging out at home. The Cluff clan came over again and we exchanged our gifts to each other and for the kids. I think we all enjoyed the gifts we received and gave! We are so blessed to have such good family around us!
Monday, we did some new house work and ordered carpet for our house. We spent the rest of the day just being together.
This weekend, we will get to enjoy a 3 -day weekend as Brenton has off Friday :)

Overall, we had a successful Christmas. We had good times and we were spoiled rotten! I'm thankful for the time to celebrate the birth and life of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I'm also grateful for the time to create memories with our family.

Here are some pics from the weekend:
